Jennifer currently lives in Nashville, TN.
Growing up with artist parents exposed her to a vibrant world of creativity and encouraged her natural curiosity to look deeper and discover new perspectives in everything around her.
Jennifer has spent years capturing the essence of people and animals through portraiture, embracing a deep appreciation for each subject's unique spirit. More recently, she has expanded her practice into abstract mixed media and abstract photography, embrasing the element of chance and allowing inspiration to guide her creative process. Working intuitively from the heart, Jennifer embeds a subtle message of love, peace, or prayer into every piece, sometimes clearly visible, other times hidden below the layers of paint or charcoal. Guided by the belief that words carry energy, she creates work designed to radiate positivity and bring high vibration into any space.
Jennifer studied studio art at SMU, Meadows School of the Arts in Dallas, TX and received a Master's in Planning from the School of Architecture at Auburn University, Auburn, AL. In addition, she graduated from the American Arts Course at Sotheby’s Institute, New York, NY. Soon after graduating, she worked for Sotheby's Auction House and then for a premier American Art dealer in New York, NY, gaining invaluable knowledge of the international art world.
Not surprisingly, she finds inspiration from the world around her but her most favorite artists and ones who have much influence on her work are American. They include Maurice Prendergast, John Singer Sargent, Georgia O'Keeffe, Mark Rothko and Larry Rivers.
